NRT @ Jazz in June

NRT spent a sunny, slight breezy, evening on Tuesday participating in the Jazz in June festivities.  It was just a beautiful night to be out listening to music and the plaza west of the Sheldon Museum was full of happy Lincolnites.

All the food trucks made it hard to decide what to snack on and lots of pleasant smells wafted around.  You could try Fillipino, Mexican, Pizza, Greek, and a wide variety in between.  Haley, our General Management Intern, enjoyed some Kettle Korn and homemade root beer from the Root Beer Guy, and I had a very tasty bowl of Thai Noodle Salad from A La Carte's food truck.  Then, with the NRT table being stationed right beside Dairy Store, it was hard not to want ice cream with so many creamy looking cones of ice cream walking by.

The real highlight of the evening was meeting old and new Nebraska Rep patrons.  We handed out a bunch of our 2013 postcards (the very attractive 2013 design is a big hit!) and had lots of new email sign-ups.  We even ran a QR Code promotion to win a free ticket, and we ended up with three very lucky winners!  If you want a chance to win a free ticket, then come by the table next June on your way to tasty treats and smooth jazz.
